- very very precise. 1 to 3m precision (used more than 10 times so far and only once it lost the reception while I was under some trees. When that happens, it keeps tracking your time until it finds the link again, and then calculates a straight course on the missing part. If you dont change your direction, it doesnt make any difference.)
- after your run you can upload your history to your computer and check your performance in each lap, each race.
- the downloadable software is ok but the website is amazing. Whenever you upload your data from the watch it automatically sends to your online account. You can then check your stats from any place. All of the activities, races, calendar… you can even show it in Google Earth. Its useless but fun.

Another thing I like is that you can use it everyday – at work, going out… Its a nice watch.

I really like the Forerunner 50. It was fairly simple to set up and the foot pod was close enough for me with it’s accuracy. You can always set adjust it. You do need to wet the heartrate monitor a little before starting your workout or it won’t work until you have a good sweat going. The USB stick works great, I like being able to see my heart rate fluctuations and my rate of speed on the treadmill. I do wish it would work with the eliptical though, I usually warm up there.

Anyway, for the price it’s a great product. I look forward to purchasing the bicycle pod and trying that out next. As for the battery running out, mine was delivered out. So if you have an issue, run down to your local CVS or Walgreens and get a 2-pack for $[...] Problem solved.
