Bulova Men’s 98H37 Marine Star Chronograph Watch Purchased this to add a little color to my otherwise black and silver watches. It is nicely put together and the blue of the face and bezel are very deep and rich looking. I agree with other reviews that there is just enough gold. Per my ruler it is 41mm in diameter from 3 o’clock to 9 o’clock, including the unidirectional bezel. On the Amazon image showing the scale it shows about 38mm. Took it to a watch store and had them take out some links so I can now enjoy it. Highly recommend it if you want something that is a little different but does not shouth out ‘hey look at me’ too much. One nice touch was that when I opened the box it was not already running so the battery has not been running while sat on a shelf in the warehouse.

How to Use the Elapsed Time Bezel
If your watch is equipped with a rotating outer dial with one-minute graduations, this can be used in various ways to check elapsed time. For example if you’re diving and have a 30-minute air supply, you can set the outer ring so that the bezel’s starting point is in line with the minute hand when you first submerge. The minute hand will then indicate on the outer ring the length of time that you’ve been under water and when you should safely begin to resurface.

Bulova Men’s 98A105 Marine Star Automatic Black Dial Watch I recently become infatuated with mechanical watches. The idea that I could have a timepiece that relies solely on mechanical energy (gears and springs) in the modern world where almost every accessory has connection to Wi-Fi and the 3G network was very refreshing to me. Unfortunately, like most people, I couldn’t really bring myself to spend thousands of dollars on a swiss brand like Omega or Rolex. This watch is very affordable for anyone, and is absolutely beautiful. Right out of the box I realized that it is much better looking than the pictures show. I love that it not only has a clear back so you can see all of the gears, but it also has a little window in the face that is constantly spinning back and forth. The second hand ticks every 1/5 second (I think) to give it a “sweeping” look. It doesn’t keep perfect time (I’ve had to set it back a couple minutes two different times in the month that I’ve owned it) but it hasn’t been a problem at all for me.

My one word of warning would have to do with the size. It is kind of bulky, especially for someone with skinny wrists like me, but I did get used to the size after wearing it for a few days.

Overall I would strongly suggest this watch to anyone who would appreciate the inner workings of a automatic watch, and say that you should look somewhere else if you are a skinny-wristed person looking for your watch to keep perfect time.

Bulova Men’s 98B013 Marine Star Diver’s Chronograph Watch I paied a little more for this great time peice in the store, but it was still well worth it. This is my first “expensive” watch, although I have always loved watches. Keeps great time, the chronograph works great, and the hands/hour marks glow very bright after just a short time in the light/sun. The watch is a little heavy, but that’s fine unless you are trying to do sports or work out, in which case I’d reccomned just taking it off. The only thing that I DON’T like about this watch is the claps… which for some reason they decided not to make with a button release, which makes it very difficult, every time, to unclasp the band. Other than that great watch!
