The band is shiny black. I got this watch for my 10 year old, and it is the perfect size for her. I seriously question the “unisex” label. I do not think the band would be large enough for most men (it just barely fits an adult woman with large wrists) and the style would be too feminine for most men.

I shopped 3 different Wallyworld locations yesterday looking for an automatic watch, and was shocked to see they had some generic junk there for . They had only a 1 year warranty, and were made completely in China and didn’t come close to the styling of this Armitron watch, which I basically had to have as soon as I saw it.
